The National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA)
The National Electrical Contractors Association is the management association for electrical contractors. NECA represents thousands of employers who guarantee their installations and perform quality work on time and on budget. NECA electrical contractors satisfy their customers by doing the job right the first time.
The International Brotherhood of Electrical workers Local Union 6 represents electrical workers who work in all aspects of the industry. Our members are the most qualified in the electrical industry. The finest electrical workers in the country receive their training through the National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee of National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).
The Quality Connection (TQC) is a full-color magazine published by the National Labor-Management Cooperation Committee of the electrical construction industry. It was created to provide information on what is happening in the electrical contracting industry, and to update activities of the NLMCC, to all IBEW members involved in electrical construction and to all signatory employers.
With the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, Congress created the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to ensure safe and healthful working conditions for working men and women by setting and enforcing standards and by providing training, outreach, education and assistance.
